With Warehouse Tracking you get supporting warehouse details for the information in Inventory/Sales while keeping the warehouse records separate from your stock and order information. Your Inventory/Sales operators don’t need to enter warehouse information, and your warehouse operators don’t work with anything but warehouse information.

The mobile terminal interface for Warehouse Tracking uses SouthWare NetLink™ technology.  NetLink runs on the network with normal SouthWare data.  It provides browser-based access to SouthWare data via standard web technology.  The mobile terminal unit runs only browser software, and each time it requests or sends data from the browser NetLink will accept the request, perform the requested functions, and send a response page to the terminal browser.

This means:

• There is no data to lose on the mobile terminal!  If it gets crunched by a forklift, all the data is on the NetLink server.

• Your operators need to learn only a simple browser interface.

• The NetLink interface will work on any browser.

• You can provide mobile terminal access to any data in your warehouse with the customizable NetLink technology (NetLink allows customization and additional functions).
