Barcode & Labeling is a Systems Integrator offering hardware and software for labeling and tagging applications in the Southeast.  This includes printers, readers, software, along with professional services and advice for programming, installation, training and the maintenance of your system.

Barcode & Labeling, Inc. started out tracking nuclear weapons for The Savannah River Site and deadly organisms for The Centers for Disease Control and grew to provide barcoding solutions for: ADM, Alan Bradley, Allied Signal, Attachmate/DCA, Bristol Meyers, Delta Air Lines, DuPont, Healthdyne, J.C. Penney, Johnson & Johnson, Kaiser Permanente, Lockheed, Lucent, MARTA, Maxell, Motorola, Nutrisweet, Panasonic, Scientific Atlanta, Scientific Games, Sony, Southwire, Spartan Mills, the State of Georgia, True Value, TRW, U.S. Navy, UPS, Westinghouse, West Point Pepperell, Xerox and many smaller companies not nearly as well known

Our engineer’s team with your people to evaluate all feasible component possibilities and integrate the best agreed upon choices. We send mature engineers with many years of experience out to your site to audit your challenge and provide expert help.  These same engineers come back to install the hardware and software and provide techniques that optimize throughput.  We provide or help your people write your own barcode printing and collection programs.  Our engineers provide at no charge, local first level maintenance for our customers who use our media and continue to train and update them with out Barcode Coach, a motor home equipped with many operational label printers, readers and software packages as well as RFID systems; all from different manufacturers brought right to your door.

As true systems integrators, we not only provide the hardware, we tie all of these components together.  Our staff members are engineers and specialized technical people.  We would rather partner with you during the design and selection process than have to try to make incompatible pieces work together after your staff has tried to re-invent the wheel.  Your MIS people needn’t be overwhelmed with anything more than oversight and direction on this new application when we can provide the “in the trenches” work for them.  Keep in mind; we have been in barcoding exclusively for well over two decades.  Part of what we offer is installation, technical support and training of your programmers and operators at your facility.  You won't have to impact your already busy programming staff with what to them will be new, mine-field studded ground.  When you need us, a quick call will probably be sufficient to solve a question.  If necessary, we'll be there and working right next to you.  None of our competitors do that.
